Developing functional life skills is a key component of our classroom. With the development of these skills, students are given the opportunity to become independent and successful adults. Since each student functions at a different and unique level, everything that we do within our classroom is individualized. Community outings is a way for the students in this classroom to use and practice their independence and functional life skills that they work very hard to develop within the classroom.
